Nothing gets built until it's drawn.
- 01
The brief
The room, the constraints, what the piece sits next to and what it has to do. Sightlines, existing finishes, the height of everything around it. Bring drawings if you have them and we will work from those; bring a photograph and a tape measure and we will work from that instead.
- 02
Material selection
Not a species off a list — the actual board. Walk the racks and choose the piece, because the grain, the checking and the marks on that one slab are what the finished work will look like. Every piece has a documented origin, and on a specified job that provenance goes in the submittal.

Drawn and specified
Nothing is cut until it is drawn. Finished dimensions, joinery, edge profile, breadboard or not, hardware, finish schedule, how it fastens to the wall or floor. You approve it before a saw runs. Changes are cheap on paper and expensive in walnut.
- 04
Fabrication
Built here on South Jason Street — cut, joined and finished by hand. Not outsourced, not drop-shipped. You are welcome in the shop while it is on the bench, and for anything with a long lead we will send progress photographs.
- 05
Delivery and install
Collected from the yard, delivered, or fitted alongside your contractor. For anything that hangs on a wall we supply the bracket and the setting-out, because how a mantel meets masonry is a decision, not an afterthought.
